[25] Wednesday
"Current Event 1" -250 words
Cindy Jackson broke the world record, as well as the Guinness book of world records for cosmetic surgery back in 2000, and to this day still holds the record as of April 2011. That’s right—at the age of 55, she has spent over $100,000 dollars and done more than 52 procedures. However, not all 52 procedures were full-scale surgeries. Some were full-scale operations, and include three face-lifts, two nose operations, two eye-lifts, liposuction, knees, waist, abdomen, thigh and jaw line surgery, lip and cheek implants, chemical peels, chin bone reduction and semi-permanent make-up.

At this point, some people may think that she has tampered with nature or with what God gave her. Others, however, may think that she’s truly escaped the clutches of old age and that she’s reached the closest things to the modern ‘fountain of youth’. No matter how you view it, though, most would agree that she certainly doesn’t look her age. From head to toe, Cindy doesn’t look at all like 55. Maybe late 30’s-early 40’s depending on certain pictures.

Cindy’s background started in a village in Ohio. She confessed that when she was younger, a guy had told her that, “You know Cindy, when you smile, from the side your nose and chin almost meet.” From then on, readers can correctly assume that that’s when her aim towards perfection and looking “pretty” all started. She has been careful to take it slow, as she states that her only goal it to be beautiful.

[24]Thursday (3)

Okay, so now I'm pretty sure that I've done the amount of posts that I needed to do.
This will be my last post for the 3rd quarter, so like I've been doing with the previous two posts for today, I'm going to picture spam !
I think this is a good opportunity to catch up on my style concept, since that's what this blog was supposed to be about.
My style never changes. That's a good thing, in my opinion. I mean, it doesn't change, but I'm always open to new concepts.
Here you go:

I hope you guys will continue to look forward to my future posts & enjoy fashion, clothes, shopping & all this as much as I do.

Ciao,
-Ji Hyun<3

[23]Thursday (2)

I have been slacking a little bit, I think, so now I have to post 3 posts today.
I'm not sure how many I've done this quarter, but according to the number at the top of each entry, right it's only 23 posts, including this one. By the end of quarter 3, I'm supposed to have 24 posts.
So, I decided to do another photo spam. :)
The weather, despite being Spring now, it still chilly, so I have yet to wear shorts or anything.
Anyways, enjoyy:

One more,

February 11, 2011

[19]Friday
So because of all the snow days we had during the winter time, we had to make up some holidays, like President's Day in February. But if they're going to add any more days at the end of the year, it won't matter since I'm a SENIORRR ! :)
YEAH CLASS OF 2011!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyways.
So here I am, writing my second post for the 3rd quarter. It's really hard to believe that we're already this far into the year, and although I'm graduating in 4 more months, I still feel as if I've just started my adventures being a senior--even though I've also been 18 more quite a few months now. :)
This is just a ranting post, I guess, about my thoughts of school until now.
Usually, this would be the same time when I would take SOL's, but I have only one this year, and that's in Geosystems, which, despite friend's constant "Don't worry about it!s", I'm worrying about them. I feel confident of the things we recently learned, but what about all the material we went through at the wayyyy beginning of the year?!
Or maybe I'm just a worry-wort; I'm VERY concerned about my college acceptance letters as well.

No pictures for today, since the next post I do will probably have like, loads of them. :)
Oh, and if you were wondering about that Jeremey letter segment thing, it's all because I did it to his blog first, so he wrote me a reply, like the gentle man he is. That's all.

Anyways.
Cheers for now. Until the next post,
-Ji Hyun. <3
